When you look in the mirror what do you see?

You or a reflection of who you aspire to be?

Being that a reflection has blemishes is it really you?

So why is a mirror used to help you put make-up on the way you do?

Are you afraid of you?

Afraid to reveal the blessings passed on to you...

Cover up..

Hibernate within..

Come out of your shell when it's to your liking

Liking that others like you for who you're not

Do you blame the mirror or you?

Critiquing flaws taking away from your heritage

Short term satisfaction for the love of an image

Thought you were proud?

Disowning self from a culture is belittling family pride

It's like breaking a branch off a tree with unlimited rings inside.

A weed looking good next to the stump knowing in due time

Enhancing the physical leaves the natural behind..
